Each new season begins with strict quality controls. All of the storage areas are sterilized prior to receiving each new virus-free seed lot. The seed cutting line, transport equipment and cup planter are sterilized between each seed lot, minimizing the risk of acquiring infection.

A cup planter is used to eliminate the spread of infection caused by the planter picks.

Proper management of air humidity and temperature during storage achieves suberization and controls the respiration rate to minimize the premature physiological aging of seed potatoes.
